We don’t allow pets in our cottage, but other companions are welcome if they are good walkers like “Jogger”. This is Jogger’s cairn home to keep him safe during our visit to the Reindeers

The Red Squirrel alert

There are lots of red squirrels about, keep a look out above you during your forest strolls as they are usually frolicking in the branches. There is an interesting website by the Forestry Commission on the future of the red squirrel which is fighting for its habitat with the grey squirrel (an American invader)
